About me

The power of serving well

A business belongs, in a sense, to the society it serves. Its profit is the thanks it earns for making everyday life better.

Kamran Pitafi

I'm Kamran Pitafi, a business leader, author and mentor with over 23 years of experience across the Middle East, Africa and South Asia. My work sits where manufacturing, distribution and the customer meet, and I have spent my career growing businesses, partnerships and the teams that deliver them.

I began in software, then spent nineteen years with Panasonic Marketing Middle East & Africa, growing from Area Sales Executive to Business Head: a team of 60+ across 10+ markets, serving partners in 22 countries. One of its most meaningful parts was leading localisation projects in the Middle East, which taught me that growth lasts only when the whole business delivers for the customer, and when everyone involved shares the goal and the credit.

I hold to fair, honest dealing with every partner, listen closely to the people nearest the market, and keep adapting as markets change. Experience is worth most when it is shared, which is why I write, research and mentor founders today.
